Election aspirations of various parties on BNP stage in commemoration of mass uprising
Amidst the ever-changing issues, there is still some uncertainty among political parties, especially BNP, about whether the next national election will be held within the expected time frame. However, it is becoming increasingly clear that a roadmap for an election-centric path is being created within the parties. This was expressed in the speeches of many political party leaders at the anniversary of the July Uprising organized by BNP on Tuesday. Many of them expressed their intention to support BNP in the elections.

The activities of the main political parties around reforms and elections so far include, on the one hand, like-minded parties including BNP, and on the other hand, there is an effort to unite some other parties including Jamaat, Islami Andolan.
Last Saturday, the Islami Andolan Bangladesh held a large rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital to create a discussion. Almost all like-minded Islamic parties, including Jamaat-e-Islami and the National Citizens Committee (NCP), participated there. BNP was not even invited to that rally.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Secretary General Manjurul Islam Afendi delivered the strongest speech while participating in the anniversary program of the July Uprising organized by BNP on Tuesday. Without mentioning anyone by name, he said, “We all want to play the role of vigilant watchmen of the patriotic people from top to bottom against those who create new controversies, create new issues and want to destabilize the country.”
